How can we help?

Short guides for everything in Yesmora. Most take under a minute to read.

Getting started

  1. Click Start free trial, create your account and name your workspace (your agency or team).
  2. Add your first client brand: its name, the display name and handle on each platform, and a profile picture. These are only used to draw previews.
  3. Write a first post. The Instagram preview updates as you type.
  4. Send yourself the approval link to see exactly what your client sees. The demo brand Maple & Steam is there to practice on.

Setting up a client brand

  1. Go to Brands › New brand. Set the timezone: post times are shown and exported in it.
  2. Add the approvers (name and email). Choose when a post counts as approved: any approver, the first approver, or every approver.
  3. Turn on internal review if a teammate must approve posts before the client sees them.
  4. Add brand voice notes and hashtag sets. The AI helpers and the hashtag buttons use them.

Writing posts and previews

  1. Click New post (or press N in the calendar). Pick the brand and platforms.
  2. Write one caption. Click a platform tab above the caption to write a different version for that platform only.
  3. Add images or a video. Drag tiles to reorder a carousel, add alt text, and click a tile for crop guides at 1:1, 4:5, 9:16 and 1.91:1.
  4. Switch preview tabs, light or dark, mobile or desktop. Counters warn you before you hit each platform's limit.

Calendar and grid planner

  1. Use month, week or list view. Drag a post to another day to reschedule it.
  2. Filter by brand, platform, campaign, status or person. Empty days ahead show a "Nothing planned" hint.
  3. Open the Grid view to see the next Instagram posts as they will sit on the profile, and drag to swap their order.

Sending posts for approval

  1. From a post, click Send to client, or go to Approvals › Send for approval and pick a week, a month, a campaign or individual posts.
  2. Set an approve-by date. Reminders go out 48 and 24 hours before it. Add a password or an expiry if needed.
  3. The approvers get one email with your branding. You can copy the link and send it your own way too.

What your client sees

  1. The client types their name and email once, then swipes through the posts in real previews.
  2. For each post they tap Approve, Approve with small changes, or Request changes. They can pin a comment on the image or quote part of the caption.
  3. A progress bar shows how many they reviewed. "Approve all remaining" asks for confirmation first.
  4. They can also upload brand files and ask for a new post from the same link.

Versions and changes

  1. When the client asks for changes, edit the post and save. Yesmora creates V2 automatically.
  2. The client sees what changed: words added and removed in the caption, and a note when images changed.
  3. Earlier comments stay on V1 and are still visible under "Earlier comments".

Exporting and publishing

  1. Go to Calendar › Export. Pick a brand, dates and statuses, then choose Buffer, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite, Later, a full CSV or a ZIP.
  2. From any post, use Copy caption and Download media to post from your phone, then Mark as published with the live link.
  3. Download the audit trail from Approvals as CSV or PDF.

Team, roles and billing

  1. Invite people from Team. Owner, Admin and Editor use paid seats. Viewers and client approvers are free.
  2. Every plan starts with a 14-day trial. Pick a plan in Settings › Plan and billing; it switches as soon as Stripe confirms the payment.
  3. Add a Slack webhook in Settings to get client decisions and requests in a channel.

Social listening

  1. In the app, open Listen › Monitors and add what to listen for: the brand, its products, competitors or hashtags, with words to exclude.
  2. Pick the sources: Reddit, Bluesky, Mastodon, Hacker News, Google News, YouTube and any RSS feed, such as a Google Alerts feed.
  3. Mentions arrive about every 15 minutes with sentiment and topics. Assign them in the mentions inbox, reply from a draft, or turn them into post ideas.
  4. Spike alerts reach your team by email, in the app and in Slack. Editors get a weekly digest on Monday.

Publishing, links and bio pages

  1. Open Grow › Publishing and connect Bluesky, Mastodon, Discord, Telegram or Slack for the brand.
  2. In a post, tick the channels and turn on publishing when approved. It goes out at its time once the client approves.
  3. Make short links with UTM tags and QR codes in Grow › Short links. They live at yourdomain.com/go/code.
  4. Build the brand's link in bio page in Grow › Link in bio. It lives at yourdomain.com/bio/name.

Analytics and client dashboards

  1. Download the post export from Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn, TikTok or X.
  2. In Insights › Analytics, drop the file in. Columns are found for you and rows are matched to your posts.
  3. Log follower counts for the brand and its competitors in Insights › Competitors.
  4. Share a live client dashboard link, or download the results PDF for the month.

What should a social media approval process look like?

A simple social media approval process: agree on approvers and deadlines, plan in a calendar, review internally, send one client link, handle changes as versions, then export and keep the record.
