For a small agency, Planable suits teams that want collaboration, approvals and publishing in one tool billed per workspace. Later suits Instagram and TikTok heavy work with strong scheduling and analytics, with approvals on its Growth plan. Yesmora suits agencies whose bottleneck is client approval and who already use a scheduler.
Key takeaways
- Pick the tool for your bottleneck: publishing, analytics or client approvals.
- Planable is the closest to an approval-first tool and also publishes. It bills per workspace with unlimited users.
- Later is a scheduling and Instagram specialist. Approval workflows start on its Growth plan.
- Yesmora does approvals only and hands off to your scheduler by CSV. Reviewers are free and it works in English, French, Spanish and Arabic.
- Prices change often. Check each pricing page before you decide.
Full disclosure first: I founded Yesmora, so read this with that in mind. I have tried to be fair. Planable and Later are good products used by thousands of agencies, and for some teams they are the better pick. The goal here is to help you choose for your bottleneck, not to win an argument.
Prices and features below come from each company’s own website and pricing page in October 2026. They change often, so check before you decide.
The short version
- Choose Planable if you want collaboration, approvals and publishing in one tool, and paying per workspace works for your client list.
- Choose Later if your work is mostly Instagram and TikTok and you care most about scheduling, link in bio and analytics.
- Choose Yesmora if the slow part is getting clients to say yes, you already have a scheduler or post by hand, and you want clients approving from their phone with no account, in English, French, Spanish or Arabic.

Planable: the closest to approval first
Planable was one of the first tools to treat approvals as the main event, and it shows. Posts appear as they will look, comments sit on the post, and you can set up several approval levels. It also publishes, so you can run everything in one place.
The pricing is per workspace, which is great when you have a few large clients and a big team, since users are unlimited. With many small clients, each in its own workspace, the bill adds up faster. Post limits also apply per workspace: 60 a month on Basic and 150 on Pro at the time of writing.
Best for: agencies that want one tool for planning, approvals and publishing, with a handful of larger accounts.
Later: the scheduling specialist
Later is excellent at what it was built for: visual planning and scheduling for Instagram, TikTok and friends, with link in bio and solid analytics. If your clients judge you on reach and engagement reports, Later earns its place.
Approvals are newer and sit on the Growth and Scale plans, not Starter. They work well for internal and external review, but approval is one feature among many rather than the centre of the product.
Best for: social-first agencies and creators who live in Instagram and TikTok and need publishing and analytics more than a client approval round.
Yesmora: approvals only, on purpose
Yesmora does one job: getting a yes on every post quickly. You plan in a calendar, see each post in previews for eight platforms, and send the client one link for the week or month. They swipe through on their phone, tap Approve, Approve with small changes or Request changes, and can pin comments on the image. Reminders go out before the deadline, edits become version two with the changes highlighted, and every decision is logged.
What it does not do yet is publish. Today you export approved posts as CSV for Buffer, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite or Later, or download a ZIP and post by hand. Direct publishing is waiting on platform approval from Meta and LinkedIn. There are no engagement analytics either, only approval reports such as turnaround time per client.
It also works fully in English, French, Spanish and Arabic, for the client and for your team. French matters a lot here in Quebec, and Arabic comes with a proper right-to-left layout.
Best for: small agencies and freelancers whose real bottleneck is the client, who already have a scheduler they like, and who want to invite every client and approver for free.
How to decide in ten minutes
- Write down where last month’s posts got stuck. Was it writing, approving, scheduling or reporting?
- If it was approving, shortlist Planable and Yesmora. If it was scheduling or reporting, start with Later.
- Count your client brands and team members, then price each option for your real numbers.
- Run one real month through a trial with your most difficult client. That client will tell you more than any comparison article.

Questions people ask
Is Yesmora a Planable alternative?
For the approval part, yes. Both show posts as they will look and collect client decisions. Planable also publishes and has analytics. Yesmora focuses on the client round and exports approved posts to Buffer, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite or Later.
Can I use Yesmora and Later together?
Yes, and many agencies will. Plan and get approval in Yesmora, export a CSV for Later bulk upload, and keep Later for scheduling, link in bio and analytics.
Which is cheapest for a freelancer with three clients?
On public pricing in October 2026: Later Starter is $18.75 a month billed yearly but has no approval workflow, Yesmora Solo is $29 a month for three client brands, and Planable Basic is $33 a month per workspace. Your real cost depends on how many workspaces or social sets you need.
Do clients need an account in Planable?
Planable lets guests view and comment from a shared link without signing in. According to Planable, a formal approval needs the reviewer to have an account. In Yesmora, clients approve from the link with no account.
